A Culinary Journey during Sanur Village Festival 2007
Set to commence from 15th – 19th August 2007 at the area of Inna Grand Bali Beach, the second annual Sanur Village Festival offers a culinary experience during the five day long event. The Food Festival invites you through a culinary journey combined with a special shopping experience from the Bazaar complimented by a unique ambiance. Taking the opportunity to also conduct the 5th Bali Culinary Challenge 2007 during the same period of the festival, food and beverage professionals from all over the globe can showcase their culinary expertise in this competition.

Food Festival
Flagged off during the SVF opening, Food Bazaar is a combination of well known Sanur restaurants, where the best of Balinese and Western values have been put together to ensure your satisfaction and comfort while enjoying the festival. In the Food festival, local and international cuisine as well as merchandise stalls will be featured, complementing other attractions such as live stage performances, Jazz chill out sessions, cooking displays, water sport activities, kite festival and more! Many famous restaurants from Sanur will join and bring their tasty dishes and nice beverages that would embrace the fun ambience of the festival. You will be able to find many kinds of food like Balinese, Italian, Padang, Mediterranean, Indian, and even Russian Cuisine during the Bazaar and Food Festival — Sanur Village Festival 2007. Some of the stalls available are: Santrian Group, Grand Bali Beach, Stiff Chilli, Hatten, TKS, Arena Pub& rest, Bali Moon, Lapau, Batu Jimbar Café, Sanur Paradise, Kopi Bali, Ryoshi, Cat & Fiddle, Massimo, Salumeria, Lazer, Queenstandoor, Desiree's Mediterranean cuisine, Moena Fresh, Slavyanka rest, Café Mie, Dijon, Segara Restaurant, Aston Legend Sanur, Pejeng, and The Gangsa Villa.

Cooking competition
Indonesian Chef Association (ICA) and Bank Pembangunan Daerah Bali will once again hold the Bali Culinaire Challenge Cooking competition. This culinary competition, exhibited at Segara Ayu Street, aims to honor excellence in food, recognize the individuals, to develop and raise the visibility of food and creative talent, and showcase the participating and competition winners' food and drink recipes.
Open to all chefs in Bali, the categories of competition will be artistic, cold platters and pastry display, artistic practical, individual practical hot food cooking, and team practical hot food cooking. Last year the competition took place at Restaurant Segara Agung Sanur involving 227 participants from 22 hotel, tourism schools, restaurant and other parties.

Bazaar
Complimenting the food festival are approximately 16 stalls offering various merchandise sales. Various products include fashion, bags, apparels, handicraft, and factory outlet items from companies found in Bali. Designated booths also provide the opportunity to view photographs taken during the Underwater Photo Competition, an official media partner booth and a charity fundraising booth organized by Rotaract Bali. The event is truly one for the entire family with various fun activities and games, so don't miss out!
