Photo Contest
Supported by Club Aqua and Seawalker, the photo competition
objects must reflect the festival’s theme “The New Spirit of Heritage” and
taken in the Sanur Village Festival area. Choices of photography objects
include the Kecak dance during sunrise, the pigeon release during the opening
ceremony, and the beauty of the underwater marine life in Sanur such as the
coral reef. The competition is open to professional and amateur photographers
competing for a Rp 6,000,000 (6 million rupiah) prize money. Registration is
open until August 14, 2007 at a fee of Rp 50,000. For further registration

Golf Tournament
The hole-in-one prize during the Sanur Open Golf Tournament
is a Mazda 3 sedan and Honda City car, also prize money of Rp 100 million and
airline tickets. The tournament is set to be held for the third consecutive
year at the Bali Beach Golf Course from August 17-18, 2007. Other prizes and
lucky draws include TV, hotel vouchers, mobile phones and airline tickets. For

Mass Yoga
This year’s Sanur Village Festival welcomes a new activity
where the public can harmonize their minds, body and soul through yoga. The
event invites up to 1,500 participants from all over Bali. Following several
light yoga movements (the Suryanamaskara) a special enlightenment session will
be conducted by Gede Prama. The event is scheduled to be held at sunrise on
Saturday, August 18th, 2007 from 06:00 a.m. till 09:00 a.m. at the beachfront
of Inna Grand Bali Beach Hotel, Sanur. We advise participants to wear trainings
with a white T-shirt and to bring their own mattress, towel or beach materials.

Bali Culinary Challenge
Highlighting the Second Sanur Village Festival is the
Culinary Challenge 2007. Throughout the five-day event more than 200 chefs from
five star-rated hotels in Bali will showcase their culinary skills in 19
competition categories. From sculpturing to carving and to cooking,
participants can see these chefs in action. Registration is still open for all

Beach Games
From culinary to sporting activities, register your team in
various water sports activities during the festival. Competitions open to
public include canoe competition, traditional “jukung” boat race and the
windsurfing and sailing competition. Not forgetting the international kite
festival that has become a major attraction in Sanur. This year’s kite
competition has attracted participants from all over the globe, including
Australia, America, Sweden, and England.
